Hawkweed is a plant of several years and gets only heights between 15 cm and rarely to 30 cm. It has a leafless, hairy stem . The bluish-green leafes are also hairy and are growing on the bottom of the plant. Im the Middle Ages the
hawkweed was used as the protection from witches and black magic. The juice was used for the treatment of wounds and to increase
the ability to see. In the folk medicine the hawksweed was used against looseness, influenzal diseases, bleb -und kidney
inflammation, worm infestation and kidney stones.
